Privacy Policy

Effective July 23, 2026 · DMV Appliance Clinic is a trade name of Universal Home Solutions LLC, Laurel, Maryland ("we," "us").

What we collect

When you request service or contact us, we collect what you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email, service address, details about your appliance and its symptoms, and any photos or videos you attach. When you call or text our business number, we keep the message history and call records. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, pages requested). We do not use advertising trackers or sell ads.

How we use it

To do the work you asked for: diagnosing your appliance, scheduling and confirming visits, sending you updates about your request, invoicing, and honoring our service commitments. That's it — we do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

Text messaging

If you provide your phone number — by contacting us or submitting a request on this site — we may text you about your service request (confirmations, arrival updates, replies to your questions). Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make the business run — our email, telephone, scheduling, and payment processors (for example, card payments are handled by Square; we never see or store your full card number) — and only as needed to serve you. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Photos and uploads

Files you attach to a service request are stored privately at unguessable addresses, are not indexed by search engines, and are used only to diagnose and document your repair.

Your choices

Want a copy of your information, or want it deleted? Email info@dmvappliance.clinic or call (301) 895-1633 and we'll take care of it. We keep records only as long as needed for service history, warranty, and legal requirements.
